Ahead of this week’s seventh (7) and, crucially, remarkable games, FPL bosses must be ready to build their squad and make the necessary transfers if necessary.
As expected, managers have had to deal with a host of issues, from injuries to underperformance and personal preferences. Things will get more complicated now that the top players return from grueling European fixtures to face teams well-rested in midweek. This week’s team leadership deadline is Saturday 30th at 11 am.

Pieces of Advice
The AI wildcard team is doing so well. As a manager, you might start to wonder why Sallah and Soni are on the pitch on the same matchday despite playing against each other. Then you have to decide who to keep and who to keep.
Although Manchester City play Wolves away, count Holland as a captain option this week.
Manchester United will once again face Crystal Palace, who beat them in midweek and could again have a nice game. You can help yourself with Casemiro and Bruno who are still important to the team and can earn you points.
The Blues’ recent form issues mean their asset is no longer a must-have in your squad. You can look at Saliba, Schar, and maybe Trippier for defensive confidence.
Don’t ignore Salah just yet. Keep him on your team, but you can avoid making him captain.
Week 7 of the doubleheader with Morris.
Some managers don’t always appreciate the idea of including Manchester City players because of Guardiola’s hulking physique. However, Erling Haaland and Ruben Diaz are certain to start against Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Design your conversions well and review your predictions. Check for injured and suspended players. Most importantly, make sure you don’t set two players to collide with each other. Wildcard:
As the season approaches more serious heat, you can start preparing your original or use it if you like.

League football. Five Games To Watch This Weekend
This weekend sees the return of league action in Europe’s major leagues, with teams now finding their rhythm for the second round of matches in the European Club Cup competitions.
After witnessing plenty of entertaining midweek football in the Carabao Cup, DFB Pokal, and league matches in Seria A and La Liga, there is of course another round of fixtures that promise to be mouth-watering this weekend. Barcelona vs. Sevilla – Friday, September 29th
Barcelona will host Sevilla in an unusual Friday match at the Olympic de Montjuic Companys. Xavi Hernandez’s men have a mountain to climb to beat Sevilla at home. At the moment, their defense is vulnerable to a series of counter-attacks due to their fierce attacking style.
In their last two matches, Barcelona had to secure a late win over Celta Vigo and only manage a draw in San Mixo against Mallorca. Although Sevilla sit in twelfth place, having won just twice and drawn once in six games, they will be a tough opponent for Barcelona.
Aston Villa vs Brighton – Saturday 30 September
Aston Villa and Brighton are two teams on the way to becoming top teams. So far, both teams have had their ups and downs, with big wins and losses already. Both teams lost their first European matches and also dropped out of the Carabao Cup on Wednesday.
However, both teams are playing flawless attacking football and the fans will be treated to a delightful encounter. Aston Villa are in sixth place after four wins and two losses, while Brighton are in third place with five wins and one loss.
Tottenham and Liverpool, in addition to Manchester City, are still undefeated in the Premier League this season. Tottenham escaped the scare at the Emirates Stadium last week after equalizing the score twice.
They now play Liverpool, who are already having a fairytale season, having only drawn their opening match but have already beaten Aston Villa and Newcastle. It remains to be seen which team will drop points after the game as the pressure on leaders Manchester City continues.
Girona vs. Real Madrid – Saturday, September 29
Real Madrid resumed their winning streak before the Girona match as they twice got past Las Palmas in midweek. Surprisingly, the match against Girona will go a long way in defining the season. Girona is flying high this season after only drawing their opening match and then winning their next six games, including a 5-2 defeat to Mallorca.
It will be a tough test for Real Madrid, who have few ideas in the defensive line and always concede goals. They will work hard to beat Girona at home, and that makes it a meeting worth watching. Leipzig vs. Bayern Munich – Saturday, September 29
Bayern Munich’s Harry Kane was greeted with defeat in the Pofdkal Cup in August as Leipzig defeated Bayern Munich in a 3-0 win. Spaniard Dánì Olmo, now sidelined by injury, scored a hat-trick for Leipzig that evening. Bayern are currently fighting for supremacy with Bayern Leverkusen and will find Leipzig a difficult obstacle.
Since the defeat in Leipzig, Bayern have drawn just once and won the rest of their matches, including the recent 7-0 defeat of Bochum. Leipzig has only lost to Xabi Alonso’s Bayern Leverkusen, won the rest of their matches, and are currently fourth. While Bayern will be craving revenge, Leipzig will find ways to put pressure on the league leaders.
