Sadio Mane will undergo a medical with Al Nassr on Monday after agreeing a £24m deal to sign him from Bayern Munich, according to Sky Sports Germany.
The former Liverpool winger will earn more than £34m (€40m) a year playing tax-free for the Saudi club. This equates to over £650,000 a week. Mane’s contract runs until 2027, so he is expected to earn around £136m if he sees the deal. The medical examination must take place in Dubai.
Mane signed for Bayern just last summer in a £35m transfer from Anfield. He will play alongside Cristiano Ronaldo.
Saint-Maximin leaves Newcastle to sign with Al Ahli
Allan Saint-Maximin has become the latest player to join the Saudi Pro League after leaving Newcastle for Al Ahli. Sky Sports News understands the charges are in the region of £23million.
On Saturday, Saint-Maximin wrote a heartfelt message to Newcastle fans on social media. The 26-year-old succeeds Riyad Mahrez, who signed for Al Ahil on Friday and will form a front-line attack with ex-Manchester City winger and ex-Liverpool striker Roberto Firmino.
Icardi travels to Galatasaray
Galatasaray has agreed to sign Argentine striker Mauro Icardi from Paris St-Germain on a three-year deal, the Turkish Super League champions announced on Sunday.
Galatasaray said they would pay PSG €10m over four seasons, while Icardi would receive €6m a season.
Icardi was on loan at Galatasaray last season and scored 22 goals and registered seven assists in 24 league appearances, helping the club win a record 23rd league title in May, their first since the 2018-19 season.
Ivory Coast international Wilfried Zaha also joined Galatasaray on a three-year deal earlier this month after his contract with Crystal Palace expired.
